The contents of the 'Hot Grid' will then dynamically change when a new record is selected within the Browse.

More news on this including an estimated release date will be available shortly.

Noyantis Software are very pleased to announce the release of their wrapper template for the nBit HTML Editor ActiveX control.

The wrapper template enabled you to add a fully functional HTML Editor / Viewer into you application in just a couple of minutes.

The capabilities of the nBit ActiveX control include:-

* A simple word-processor type interface that presents a very slight learning curve for your end-users
* Image uploading and manipulation
* Hyperlinks
* Cascading Style Sheets
* Formatted HTML Code editing
* HTML Table editing
* An integrated FTP component for uploading images inserted into HTML documents
* Customizable Toolbars
* HTML DOM Tree Node Selector - Select any node of the current HTML DOM node and either edit the tag directly, set the CSS class or, in the case of TABLE elements, edit the layout properties of tables, rows and cells on a custom properties form.
* Switchable WYSIWIG view and raw HTML view
* Spell Checker (depending on the existence of MS Word)

Our wrapper template includes both a template interface and Class methods to access all of the above as well as a Viewer Only mode where the Editor turns into a Web Browser complete with a Navigational Controls template option.

A potential use of the editor and template combination is to produce HTML newsletters / documents etc. A Find / Replace method is included in the Class and a limited demonstration of this is included in the example application. The next release of the template will include a Clarion Process extension template which will handle the loading of the HTML content and the mail merging of the data tokens.

v1.00 beta is now available for purchase from either our website directly (http://www.noyantis.com), Clarionshop or Motleysoft.

The template can be purchased on its own for $90 or complete with the nBit HTML Editor ActiveX control for $130 (providing a saving of $29.95 if purchased separately).

The template is c55, c6, c7, ABC and Legacy compatible. Example apps are included (Legacy app is still to be added to installer but will be available very shortly).

Noyantis Software are please to announce that their new HTML Editor wrapper template will be available very soon.

The template is a wrapper for the nBit HTML Editor ActiveX control.

We've also negotiated a discount for the control with its publishers and this will be available for purchase either as a standalone ActiveX control or bundled together with our new wrapper template.

The template will be released to beta testers over the coming days and will hopefully be available for sale before Christmas 2009.

New User Forum and Support facilities

Noyanits Software - gSec acquisition

Noyantis Software are pleased to announce the acquisition of the gSec 3rd party security template.

The gSec product was originally created by Gitano Software, then purchased and updated by Wingnut Solutions.
At this point, I'd publically like to thank Dave Hlavac from Wingnut Solutions for his help during the transition of ownership (and his offer of help in the future ) .

During the coming weeks, our first intention will be to review the template and bring it inline with our other templates. Once we are at this stage, we will make it available for purchase via our web site, Clarionshop and Motleysoft. Some upgrade options for existing customers will be available.

The next step for the gSec product will be to enhance it by adding new options and features etc - this is where you guys come into it! We'd love to hear from anybody who has had any gSec experiences (both Good and Bad), be it a quick feature request or a "I don't like..." - we want to hear it all.

Only by listening to your feedback and suggestions can we then move gSec on to the next level.

v1.10 Beta released of the CalendarPro template. New version uploaded to Members area and New Example uploaded

Modifications include:-
Recurring Events facility added (Drag / Resize not supported yet!)
DatePicker control enhanced to work standalone (eg, not connected to a Calendar)
Week Numbers facility added to DatePicker control
Date Limits added to DatePicker control
BUG FIX: ClearViewSchedules method was causing a GPF when NOT in Day view
